Is CMC Markets a reputable and secure company?

As a CMC Markets customer you’re partnering with a large diversified financial services company with offices throughout Asia, Europe and Canada. We employ more than 700 people.

We comply with a number of New Zealand laws. One that is of interest to customers and prospective customers is the way we manage money placed on deposit with us.

How safe are my funds with you?

Your money is completely safe with us. As a customer of CMC Markets all of your funds on deposit with us are held in a segregated trust account established, maintained and operated in accordance with Client Funds Regulations. We do not use client money to hedge our positions or to meet the trading obligations of other customers. This exceeds our regulatory requirements under the Client Funds Regulations. This is one of the factors that separates us from smaller providers and offers you financial security. You can rest assured that your money with us is protected.

We have an Education team committed to the ongoing training of both new and experienced customers, providing as many different tools as possible at no cost to help get you up to speed, deepen your knowledge and hone your skills, whether you’re interested in CFDs or FX.
